I am delighted to say that my photo was selected by "Buckingham Covers" for their Rail Cover celebrating 50years of the Class 47 Diesel on Britains Railways. Click on this link to view it and at £9.95 it may be a good stocking filler for Christmas.
2019 price is now £25.00

Direct Rail Services Class 47's nos 47832 Solway Princess & 47818 head past Appleford. This was the first time I'd ever seen a double-headed Class 47 hauled train.
