The afternoon run was re-directed via the North Warwickshire line after the train was stopped at Bearley Junction due to a points failure. Hardly surprising in the heat.

I had joined a couple of other fotters at Hatton Junction for the afternoon run. I only travelled 4 miles to reach the location. However 1 guy had driven over from Daventry (30miles) while the other had driven from Welshpool (88 miles). I suspect there were lots more frustrated fotters along the line.
