Somebody PLEASE pinch the tugboat hooter! It sounds dreadful.

Somebody PLEASE pinch the tugboat hooter! It sounds dreadful.

So it's from a Union Pacific "Big Boy"? Now when "Big Boy" no 4014 is restored to running order by Union Pacific in a couple of years time are we likely to hear a Stanier whistle on it? I think NOT. So why do this? Because the owner can? Is that the only answer? Sorry that is simply not good enough. Why spend a fortune on restoring an historic locomotive to working order and then adulterate it with the wrong whistle. You couldn't make it up.
