The planned destination of HS2 in Birmingham will be the 1838 built Curzon Street station which stands ready for its planned makeover instead of the corporate destruction suffered by the Euston Doric Arch in 1960.
I suspect the open greenery in front of the old station will end up becoming a car park for the rich and wealthy who won't want venture into the dank hole of New Street Station. Don't be fooled by the "exciting" Grand Central - Its a shopping mall.
