If you went to an art gallery would you expect to see stickers on a work of art that describes the exhibit? Well why the hell are they doing it here?

Describing the exhibits to the layperson should be done far less intrusively than this. Have stickers lying on the floor that tell people what the item is or what it's about. Not using bloody big noticeboards that hardly anybody reads and spoiling the aesthetics of the visual aspect of the locomotive.
