My goodness it was fffrrreeezzzinggggg

I was all ready to depart the railway after collecting my car at Quorn but nipped over to the turntable to see what was going on. A sizeable crowd were gathered around the table listening to a commentary provided by Tom Ingall of the events, bells & whistles from the signalbox. Standard 2 no. 78019 then arrived and was positioned onto the turntable.

Soon it was announced that Stanier 8F no (4)8624 was about to run through hauling the mineral wagons. As it passed through the station I captured some of the hot ashes ejected from the chimney.
