A move further along the line resulted in yet another shot of 44806 heading towards Glyndyfrdwy.

I spotted this scene and decided that it would make a nice shot with the spring daffodils out. All was quiet. A distant hoot on the Stanier whistle was heard as 44806 set off from Deeside Halt and I prepared for the shot. Just then I looked around to see a couple walking down with their dogs. I politely asked if they'd hang on until I'd got my shot and I'm pleased to say they agreed but just then white van man appeared heading down the hill. The dog couple explained what I was doing and I stayed put praying that I would get the sympathy of the driver in what I was trying to do. I won. He switched off his van engine to wait for me! Thankyou!
