"All aboard". 2-8-0 No 93 is almost ready to depart. It was freezing cold and snow was about to fall.
Strangely the passengers were not allowed onto the train until a minute or so before departure. Whether it was because passengers had to cross the nearside tracks I really don't know or whether it's standard practice in the US to hold passengers in the station until departure time I'd be interested to find out.
