Having boarded the coach to Paris I caught a shot of the new Stade Oceane.
Built on the site of SNCF railway sidings it was finally opened a month after my photo on 12th July 2012. Costing 80million Euros the first football match was between Havre AC and Lille (1-2).
The stadium’s most characteristic feature is its bright blue exterior and roof that light up at night.
