RAINBOW
It was quite funny when I took this shot. I was with Mike Snow at the time and we'd parked the car as close as we could to the line and then there's about a 1/4 mile walk across fields and over stiles to reach the location. The next train wasn't due for 30 minutes so Mike suggested we take lunch which was back in the boot of the car so he set off after dumping his heavy over-engineered Manfrotto tripod, video camera and microphone boom. After he'd been gone 5 minutes a sudden squall came over and dumped rain right over our location but as you can see from the shadows I was sheltered under the trees and stayed dry. Mike on the other hand was caught in open countryside and got a good soaking. Boy did I have a laugh at that one. Suddenly the sun peeped through the clouds and lit up the rainbow. Pity there was no train in shot.
