My plan was to arrive at Weybourne early 7.30am to catch something of the flavour of the loco preparations in the yard. On arrival I was somewhat dismayed to find that the car park at the station was for "Blue badge" holders only - ie disabled. The "Official" car park was about 1/2 a mile away in a field. I tried the other small car park beyond the bridge and found that full already. I drove south but found nowhere to park so decided my best tactic was to drive back to the railway bridge on the Sheringham Road (A149) park my car there and walk into Weybourne along the track. By this time, and of course without having the benefit of a timetable I thought I'd missed the freight. When it appeared I was not in a particularly good location for a shot. Such is life.
