The service operating was diesel hauled due to a steam ban by Network Rail. I can only assume that there were fears over lineside vegetation fires. The route was from London Victoria through Kensington Olympia and then up the Chiltern Line.

Return was diverted into London Paddington due to a massive power failure to the south of London. In fact the Empty Coaching Stock was altered to work as a passenger train to Woking due to the power outage using the diesel locos. Hopefully making the operators/owners a fair return.
