Out the back of Wellesbourne House is Lowes Lane. ***No relation to the LOW name though as far as I can tell. Perhaps it was due to Willie seeing that road name that encouraged him to buy Wellesbourne House? A good omen perhaps. *** update 26/02/2013. I was wrong. The road is named after the Low's but the council in their wisdom mis-spelled it! They will not now make the correction.

The Garden Cottage was the home of the gardener for Wellesbourne House. Of course its grounds were significantly larger 100 years ago.
